(Reuters photo)The Thai and Philippine indexes hit record closing highs on Wednesday, while other Southeast Asian stock markets msotly rose, tracking broader Asian shares that marked a 10-year top on improved prospects for global economic growth. The Stock Exchange of Thailand main index rose 1.42% to mark a record closing peak, with energy stocks and industrials leading the gainers. Airports of Thailand Plc touched a record high, pushing up the Thai benchmark, while PTT Plc added 2.3%. Philippine shares surged almost 2%, their best day in nearly two years, on the first trading day of 2018.
